I first masked off the section of card I was going to use, then laid the birch stencil over that and taped down to secure. Then using the torn pos-it method, I blended inks for the scene. I used about 5 different greens and then mustard seed, as well as neutrals for the base. I did mask the sun also, but when I uncovered it I dabbed some ink lightly so it wouldn't look so perfect. Before removing the stencil, I took a paintbrush with water and flicked it over the image to give it more texture and interest. Removed stencil and stamped sentiment.

This is just stunning. Sponging through the stencil created such a gorgeous scene with the different shades of green. The sentiment is just perfect. Faved forv5he week.
